C’est comme ça que don Quichotte décida de sauver le monde – grOup

A collective of amateur dancers in Besançon, grOup commissions the company to create a feminist-themed piece inspired by its new play.
From October 2023 to June 2024, 27 participants prepare for the 40-minute performance, rehearsing one weekend per month with Marinette Dozeville and dancer Lora Cabourg.

As part of the Jours de danse festival in 2024, the Marinette Dozeville company and the grOup association are pleased to present C’est comme ça que don Quichotte décida de sauver le monde (That’s how Don Quixote decided to save the world), in partnership with Cie Pernette and Les 2 Scènes, Scène nationale – Besançon.
Invited by the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Besançon in 2025, they will reprise the performance as part of International Women’s Rights Day, in tribute to the revolutionary feminist writer Jenny d’Héricourt, a native of the city.
