The Little Dance

In response to Performing bal disco – Le bal dont vous êtes le héros! – Le P’tit bal! is a ball or dance for young people, by young people, round at young people’s places…

A sort of “ambassador” class with Marinette Dozeville is created beforehand for participants to learn the dance’s choreographic routine (warming up / learning three dances / a period of free dancing to recap on what has been learnt). Then, working with the choreographer, the class will guide dancers taking part in Le P’tit bal (with other school classes).

Le P’tit bal can take place in the school involved (room permitting) or in a nearby auditorium. The capacity (a maximum of 80 P’tits – young people) will be assessed depending on space, in consultation with the Company. The remaining technical conditions are equivalent to Performing bal disco.
